An open-source education tool for individualized student feedback. Presented at KDD 2019 with accompanying paper

Overview

I built this software with a small team of Berkeley engineering grad students to explore one key question - how can we apply software in an educational setting to provide students with more personal feedback?

The result is a platform that allows teachers to upload sets of questions in a multiple-choice framework, allowing students to gauge their strengths and weaknesses in an individualized dashboard. When weak areas are detected, the platform gently suggests additional reading for them in these areas, with provided links.
